Q: How do I make a booking?
A: Send me an email/give me a call and let me know the date, time & your booking location of your special occasion and what your requirements are and I will let you know if I am available and give you a full quote. If you choose to use my services, I will send you a booking form that you will need to fill out and return as soon as you can and then your booking will be secured
Q: Do I need a trial and if so, why & how long will it take?
A: I would strongly recommend having a trial if it is a very special occasion such as your wedding to ensure I get the look you want on the day. A trial for the bride will take approximately 2 hours. Other trials will take approximately an hour each. I cannot do more than 3 trials in one evening.
Q: Is there a limit to the amount of clients you can cater for on the day?
A: I can treat up to 5 clients on the day depending on how much time I have as I will need at least 45 mins per client and at least 1hr 15mins for the bride.
Q: Do you have a minimum number per booking?
A: During high season (Jun-Sept), I will only take a minimum of 3 people per booking. For bookings over 30 miles from Watford, I take a minimum of 4 people per booking.
Q: What product brands do you use?
A: I mainly use products from brands such as MAC, Dior, Benefit, Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, Lancome, Trucco, Clinique, Dermalogica skincare & Jessica Nails
Q: When do you require payment?
A: A £25 deposit will be required to secure your booking. You will need to pay for any trials on the day of the trials and the remaining balance on the occasion date itself (or before if you prefer). An invoice will be sent with your booking form detailing what needs to be paid and when.
Q: Will I get my deposit back if I cancel?
A: If you cancel over 60 days (2 months) before your wedding or special occasion, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
Q: What happens if you are ill on my wedding day?
A: In the unlikely event that I am ill on your wedding day/special occasion, I will do my best to get an alternative make-up artist to you and you will get a full refund if an alternative make-up artist is not available.
Q: How far will you travel to a booking?
Travel of 15 miles or under is included in the price. Anything over this is charged at 40p per mile both there and back. I am willing to travel up to 30 miles from my home of Watford, Herts. Occasionally I will take bookings over 30 miles but they are subject to a minimum booking of 4 people per booking only!
